Art & Design by Angela Treat Lyon: 2021: 200 b/w & full color images; 227 pages Paperback – March 25, 2026

Right now as I write, it is March of 2026. Only a couple months ago, I turned 80. It hit me all of a sudden that, if I don’t make a record of my work, certainly no one else would, either. I could keel over at any moment, and any evidence of all that hard work stashed away on my computer would probably get tossed into the bin. Probably by relatives who mean well but have no idea that a lifetime of artwork is stored on it.The work I completed before 2021 has already been recorded. I am mega-prolific - each year from 2021 on has hundreds of pieces of art to be recorded. So I'm making a book for 2021, and each subsequent year.Why? Because my work shifts radically from one week to the next, and I like to keep track of it. You’ll see - there will be one style on one page, turn it, and it suddenly looks as if someone else did the next set. Nope - it’s all me.There are sections with only a few images, and others with 20 or more. I want to be able to look within these pages and say, oh yeah, let’s do more of those! Or, I loved that series - I think I’ll put those images on scarves, or pillows, or - just about anything.In all, I really had intended this as a personal portfolio, but then friends bugged me to make it available to them, too.
