DT Swiss X1900 Spline 25 29" Cross Country Wheel - Rear

With the X 1900 series, DT-SWISS offers you extremely reliable wheels for cross-country use at a low price. Built around the newly launched DT-Swiss 370 hubs with robust aluminum rims, the new generation of X 1900 wheels is even more resistant and durable, despite a slight weight reduction compared to the previous versions.

DT Swiss 370 hubs
For even greater reliability, the 370 hubs have been upgraded to the DT-SWISS Ratchet system. The built-in Ratchet-LN toothed pulley freewheel only differs from the tried and tested Ratchet system in that the sealing ring has a different seat. Due to the larger-area power transmission via an 18-fold toothing, the system can transmit significantly greater forces than a pawl freewheel and is less susceptible to wear.

X 432 rim
With an inner width of 25 millimeters, the X 432 rim offers a compromise between good tire support and low weight. In contrast to the high-end aluminum rims from DT-Swiss, the rim ring is connected using a sleeve joint process. This makes the rim slightly heavier compared to welded rims with the same load capacity. The rim profile is of course designed for tubeless use and comes with tubeless tape and a matching tubeless valve.

DT Swiss Champion Straightpull spokes
The Spline wheels are built exclusively with straight pull spokes. This ensures a very high level of rigidity in the wheel and, due to the elimination of the sensitive spoke arch, a very high durability.

Pro Lock technology
In the Pro Lock process, a patented two-component adhesive is injected into the nipple thread and enables extremely durable impellers to be built. As soon as the nipples are screwed in, the adhesive is activated and cures completely after approx. 6 - 7 hours at room temperature. Repeated re-centering is still possible without any problems, whereby the adhesive force decreases slightly with each re-centering.
