Kara Zor-El lands in the Pop! Heroes lineup with a look inspired by the upcoming Supergirl film, and honestly? The mystery surrounding this figure is part of the fun. Dressed in what appears to be either civilian clothes or some kind of undercover/disguise look, Kara has a more grounded presentation than the usual cape-flying Supergirl designs… at least until the movie tells us what’s really going on.
Fans love Supergirl because Kara balances incredible Kryptonian power with a very different emotional perspective than Superman. She’s often portrayed as more impulsive, more emotional, and in some ways more alienated from Earth due to remembering Krypton more clearly. That contrast gives her stories a unique flavor within the DC Universe.
And then there’s Cedric… who appears to be some sort of strange little alien grub companion. Which is honestly amazing. Tiny weird sci-fi creature sidekicks are always welcome, and the fact that nobody quite knows his role yet just adds to the intrigue surrounding the new movie.
