- Circumcision was retained as a religious sign of their covenant with God.
- They observed the dietary laws by the Mosaic Law.
- They worshipped in private homes.
- They worshipped God in synagogues.
- The people had very little faith in God following their misfortunes.
- Some prophets preached and gave the people hope of return.
- They observed the Sabbath.
- There were no sacrifices offered.
- They sang Psalms during worship sessions.
