Imaginative Composition (Compulsory) 20 marks

Either
a) Write a composition ending with the following words.

b) Write a story to illustrate the proverb;

Imaginative Composition

a) Expect a story

1. Must be a narrative, if not deduct 4mks AD
2. Must end with the given sentence. If not deduct 2mks AD. The sentence must not be tagged to the story, if so treat as irrelevant and deduct up to 2 mks
3. The story must be an account detailing a situation in which a female character misses out on her fortune(s) because of her high temper
4. The composition must not exceed 450 words i.e. 2pgs, if more than two deduct 2 mks

b. Must be a story. If not deduct 4 mks AD.

1. The story must illustrate a situation in which the person who comes out on top, in the end, is the one who is ultimately the happiest, or a person who is quick to rejoice/gloat often does not win when all is said and done.
2. The candidate must not define the proverb but write a story to bring out the meaning
