With reference to exodus 3:1-22,Describe the call of Moses (8mks)
- Moses was looking after sheep of father in law Jethro
- Was at mount horeb /wildernesses
- Angel of God appeared to him inform of flame of fire in the bush
- Bush was burning and not consuming
- Moses went to see the burning bush
- God called him ‘Moses, Moses’
- He replied ‘’Here I am ‘’
- Told not to come near and remove the shoes for he was standing on a holy ground
- God told him he was God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
- Moses hid the face he was afraid to look at God
- God told him he had seen attention of his people /heard their cry
- The world sent him to go to Egypt and take them to the promised land
- He asked God who he would tell Israelites God was
- God told him to to tell them ‘’I AM WHOM I AM ‘’
- Moses told to gather the elders.
- God promised to perform miracles.
- Israelites will get a favour from Egyptians.
NB: The student may not have chronology of events . ( 8x 1= 8mks)
