Selected Learning Experiences
Introduction (6 minutes)
- Review homework: Check characteristics charts and calculations
- Pose the key inquiry question
- Demonstrate three scenarios:
- Teacher talks, students listen (one-way)
- Walkie-talkie conversation (take turns)
- Phone conversation (talk simultaneously)
- Ask: “How are these three communication styles different?”
- Introduce data communication modes
