Five Teachings of Jesus on the Cost of Discipleship
- Take up the cross and follow Jesus. /Be ready to suffer.
- Be ready to die for the sake of the kingdom
- Should not be ashamed of Jesus.
- Follow him without expecting material gains.
- Let the dead bury their dead/be ready to proclaim the kingdom.
- Should not look back/anybody who takes the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom.
- Separate yourself from even family members/be fully committed.
