- Witnessed that Jesus was the messiah/Iamb of God/son of God /the introduced Jesus to the crowd.
- Introduced Jesus to his disciples.
- Two of his disciples became Jesus’ disciples
- Preached repentance and forgiveness of sins/baptized those who repented.
- Warmed people of God’s coming judgment
- He acknowledged Jesus’ greatness /ascendancy over him
- Advised people to live Holy lives/do what ¡s right /share with other
- Was a forerunner of Christ/prepared the way for the coming of the Messiah
- Baptized Jesus in River Jordan
