Lessons from the parable of the wheat and tares
- Be aware that the word of God has been planted in them by Jesus/God’s word is good
- They are living in the world together (the good and the bad)
- They ought to follow Jesus’ teachings
- Bad people love evil
- They ought to be aware that Satan plants bad seeds
- On judgment day, the good and the bad will be separated
- On judgment day, the good will be rewarded and the bad will be punished
- Satan does not want human beings to prosper in God’s word
- Satan comes/invades secretly
- Christians should not be quick to condemn others/god is patient with sinners
- Good/righteous ones belong to God’s kingdom/the evil belong to the devil
